For most car owners, yes. PPF preserves your paint's condition and protects your vehicle's resale value. A full-front install can pay for itself the first time a rock chip doesn't ruin your hood. On a $60,000+ car, it's cheap insurance.
Partial front installs take approximately 1 day. Full front takes 1–2 days. Full body installs typically take 3–5 days depending on the vehicle's complexity.
Modern PPF is nearly invisible when professionally installed. There are slight edges at the film boundary, but on most vehicles, you'd need to know exactly where to look to find them. Matte/stealth film is also available if you want to change your finish.
PPF is an investment. Full-body installs start in the thousands. Film edges can be visible on certain panel shapes. And while PPF is removable, removal should always be done professionally to avoid paint damage. It also won't fix existing paint damage, only protect against future damage.
